The 1Voice Foundation is a west-central Florida nonprofit that supports pediatric cancer patients and their families through more than 25 no-cost programs - offering emotional, educational, financial, and therapeutic assistance. They also operate the only private pediatric cancer research lab in the region (focused on developing a leukemia vaccine); advocate on Capitol Hill during Childhood Cancer Action Days; and launched the nation’s first accredited K–12 school for children with cancer, the 1Voice Academy. We shaped story ideas for local news coverage and their annual Washington, D.C. trip, while nurturing client-family storytelling to highlight the positive impact of the organization. We craft key messaging, manage media relations with reporters and anchors, and provide one-on-one media training to ensure spokespeople stay in control of every interaction. Plus, we enable them to download and archive all broadcast segments—ideal for keepsakes and social sharing.
